IDEA lab faculty Dr. Haihua Chen, Dr. Junhua Ding, and TAMS student Serene Wang attended IEEE International Congress on Intelligent and Service-Oriented Systems Engineering (CISOSE), which took place in Tucson, Arizona, USA, from July 21-24, 2025.


CISOSE 2025 is represented by seven co-located conferences, including:
IEEE AI TEST 2025 - 7th IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Testing.
IEEE Bigdata Service 2025 - 11th IEEE International Conference on Big Data Computing Service and Machine Learning Applications.
IEEE DAPPS 2025 - 7th IEEE International Conference on Decentralized Applications and Infrastructures.
IEEE JCC 2025 - 16th IEEE International Conference on Joint Cloud Computing.
IEEE IMC 2025 - 13th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Mobile Computing.
IEEE ISADS 2025 - 16th IEEE International Symposium on Autonomous Decentralized Systems.
IEEE SOSE 2025 - 19th IEEE International Conference on Service-Oriented System Engineering.
Dr. Haihua Chen served as the PC co-chair of IEEE AI TEST 2025 and chaired two paper sessions about testing of AI applications and LLM-based AI testing at the conference.

Dr. Junhua Ding, previously served as the general co-chair of IEEE AI TEST 2023 and PC co-chair of IEEE AI TEST 2022 was invited to give a keynote speech on “Unifying Model, Data, and Creative Metrics for Trustworthy AI Testing” and serve as the panelist of the panel “Future AI Quality and Standardization” at IEEE CISOSE 2025.

TAMS student Serene Wang presented a short paper “The Convergence of UX Design and AI: A Scientometric Exploration of Research Fronts”, co-authored with Dr. Xin Wang from Department of Information Science at UNT.
Dr. Ding and Dr. Chen also attended the IEEE CISOSE 2026 planning meeting at the conference. The next version of IEEE CISOSE will be held in Fukuoka, Japan.
